Glenburnie Public School

A Note from Ms. Wyatt:

Dear Families,

I wanted to let you know that I will be on leave for Term 2, and will return to GPS in September. This leave has been planned for several years and is a wonderful opportunity for me and my husband to recharge, travel, and enjoy quality family time with our daughters.

My last day will be Thursday, January 29th. While many students are already aware, I wanted to ensure that all families and members of our school community are informed as well.

During my absence, Mr. Spiers will assume my role as Student Support Teacher and Head Teacher, and another teacher, Mr. Riley Teal, has been hired to teach the Grade 7/8 Class for the remainder of the year.

Thank you, as always, for your continued support! This has been a truly excellent year, and while I am very excited about this upcoming adventure, I will be sad to say a temporary goodbye to our incredible school community. I look forward to returning for Fun Fair, Graduation, and other special events, and I will remain in contact with school staff during my leave.

Warm regards,

Mara Wyatt
